A tasty and decadent side dish that's ideal for your next cookout or barbecue is grilled bacon wrapped corn. It's a crowd-pleaser because the sweetness of the corn is complemented by the smoky flavor of the bacon.
Ingredients:
- 4 ears of corn
- 8 slices of bacon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Turn the heat up to medium-high 375400 degrees Fahrenheit or 190204 degrees Celsius
Remove the silk by peeling back the corn husks, but do not cut them off
Each corn ear should have two bacon slices wrapped around it, securing with toothpicks if necessary
Add salt and pepper to the bacon-wrapped corn after brushing it with olive oil
After putting the corn on the grill, cook it for 12 to 15 minutes, rotating it now and then, until the bacon is crispy and the corn is soft
Take off the grill, add some fresh parsley on top, and serve hot
