Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cardamom, and salt
Add the coconut milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients
Mix until a smooth dough forms
Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat
While the oil is heating, roll the dough into small balls or shape them into rings, creating your desired donut shapes
Carefully place the donuts into the hot oil, frying them until they turn golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking
This should take about 3-4 minutes per donut
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried donuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil
