Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
- 1 package of chocolate candy melts
- 1/4 cup of colorful sprinkles
- 1/4 cup of crushed nuts optional
- Cake pop sticks
Instructions:
As directed on the package, bake the chocolate cake
After the cake cools completely, transfer it to a large bowl and crumble it into fine crumbs
Add the chocolate frosting and stir until thoroughly mixed
The mixture needs to be moldable and moist
Using the mixture, shape small cake balls and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined
After placing a cake pop stick inside each ball of cake, freeze it for a minimum of half an hour
As directed on the package, melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl
Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted chocolate
Let the dripping chocolate fall off
If desired, immediately top with crushed nuts and colorful sprinkles
To ensure that the cake pops fully set, place them inside a foam block
